The earth element governs practicality, stability, serenity of beingness, and parts of manifestation. The Earth Element Course consists of 1 class which teaches you about healing, grounding and restabilization. Techniques taught in this section include:
Earth characteristics and correspondences – for understanding the properties of earth
Building earth boxes – for directly handling earth energies
Rooting – for stabilization and grounding
Direct flow earth – for healing and greater manifestation abilities
The Physical Reality of Manifestation
Earth is the physical and final part of the manifestation process – the part where what you want becomes a physical reality. As you might recall from the previous elements, you do your planning in the Air element, leap into action in the Fire element, and add a huge dose of passion in the Water element. In Earth, your manifestation comes into being, and that’s not all. The Earth element is also associated with strength, foundations and permanence. If you want to build an empire or succeed in business, you’ll need the Earth element.
Earth is associated with the direction North, where all is frozen solid. Earth elementals are Gnomes, and they live in rocks. Here’s another tidbit about Earth – it’s always a mix of all the other elements.
Specifically, Earth corresponds to:
strength, money, foundation, endurance, structure, mundane world, serenity of beingness, solidity, boundaries, permanence, land, commerce, products, confidence, loyalty, persistence, stubbornness, fortress, security, anchor, barter, substance, body, base, possessions..
If you want to affect any of these areas in your life, you’ll need to work with Earth. Like the other three magical elements, Earth has three major colors:
Grass Green – Vibrant, dynamic living Earth
Earth Brown – Stable Earth
Black Pure, dead Earth (the stuff of black holes)
As with the other elements, you can use Earth colors to adjust different aspects of your life. For instance, if you’re stuck in a rut in your life, check out what colors you wear. If you wear a lot of brown tones, chances are that you are literally “holding” things in your life, whether you want them or not. Earth Brown is the color of stability and status quo. It also tends to attract and keep physical weight on your body. Ready to move on? Try switching to other colors such as Water Blue (which can flow things away), Bright Red (which can burn body fat and introduce movement) or Sky Blue (which can help you see new options and ideas).
Also, if you’re ready for more prosperity in your life, add some Grass Green into your color scheme. Grass Green is a vibrant, living color that adds dynamic attraction into your life—and helps you hang onto whatever you attract. If money flows through your hands like water, wear more Grass Green. It will help you stabilize your spending habits and keep your money!
Spotting Gnomes
Of all the elementals, Gnomes are the most similar to humans. Because Earth is a slow and solid element, Gnomes are also slow and stable. They tend to avoid humans because we are so much faster than they are, but you can spot Gnomes if you’re careful and move slowly. Look for gnomes in granite outcroppings. Listen for tapping like the sound of two rocks striking together, or look for a round hole in a cliff, which isn’t there when you go look. Like other elementals, if you don’t bother them, they don’t bother you. They are reclusive and grumpy.
