If you had all the magical powers in the world, would you use it to control your life? Would you use it to see how everything in your life would unfold in the future? A lot of people would.

The problem with using magic to control every aspect of your life is that magic is really about the unexpected. Think about it. Why is magic so, well, magical? Because it can create effects that seem to be miraculous or impossible.

There is no way anyone can really predict how magic will work. Why? Because magic takes place on higher levels than the one we live in. Magic works is because events and outcomes that would be impossible in our world are easily possible in higher worlds.

When we do magic to create a specific outcome we specify the “what” but not the “how.” We specify what we want and when we want it to occur, but we never specify how the outcome will occur. That’s not our job. If we specified the “how” there would be no room for magic. By leaving the how open to the unexpected we create room for powers and beings from higher realms to create in our lives.

So the next time you ask the Universe for help, feel free to get as controlling as you want about the who, what, where and when, but leave the how out of the equation. As for the why, the Universe doesn’t need to know – it doesn’t care about reasons. Good luck!
